Small Group

Small group tutoring consists of two or three students who require tutoring in the same subject. In addition to targeting specific skill gaps for each student, tutors proceed through an established curriculum that reviews the lessons students have learned in school. Algebra I small group tutoring, for example, allows students to receive individualized help and also review the entire Algebra I curriculum they have been learning in class.

Private Tutoring

Private tutoring is one-on-one tutoring that provides a targeted curriculum to address the specific skill gaps in each individual student's learning. Tutors meet with students in our Oakland office or at a nearby public library. Tutoring sessions begin with a free diagnostic test and are followed by a consultation meeting to determine the best course of action to achieve the educational goals of both parents and students.
